TERMS & CONDITIONS

Our Terms and Conditions clearly define the guidelines for using our services, detailing how we handle your interactions and protect your rights.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Dotzza (“Dotzza”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) including the Dotzza mobile and web applications, collaboration tools, AI-assisted features, communication features, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services.

1. Description of the Services

Dotzza provides digital tools for project management, communication, documentation, and collaboration within healthcare education and academic environments. These Services are intended solely for educational and organizational purposes.

Dotzza is not designed for:

  • clinical workflows
  • patient care
  • diagnosis or medical decision-making
  • storage of real patient health information

2. Eligibility

To use Dotzza, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 16 years old, or you are using the platform with the appropriate consent of an institution or parent.
  • You have the authority to agree to these terms (as an individual or on behalf of an institution).
  • You will comply with all applicable laws while using the Services.

If you are using Dotzza on behalf of an institution, you confirm that you have obtained the necessary approvals to do so.

3. Account Registration and Security

You must create an account to use certain features of the Services.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

Dotzza is not responsible for loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • upload, store, or transmit real patient health information
  • engage in abusive, harmful, or harassing behavior
  • upload illegal, defamatory, or inappropriate content
  • distribute malware or malicious code
  • interfere with system integrity or security
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
  • reverse engineer or attempt to access non-public systems
  • violate the privacy or rights of other users

Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination.

5. User Content

“User Content” includes tasks, documents, messages, chat content, comments, files, media, and any material you create or upload using the Services.

You retain full ownership of your User Content.

By using the Services, you grant Dotzza a limited, non-exclusive license to:

  • store, process, and display your User Content
  • Share your User Content with workspace members where applicable
  • use your User Content to operate, support, and maintain the Services

You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content:

  • does not violate law or third-party rights
  • does not contain prohibited or harmful material
  • is appropriate for academic and professional environments

Dotzza is not liable for User Content posted by individuals or institutions.

6. AI Features

Certain Service features use artificial intelligence.

By using AI tools, you acknowledge that:

  • AI outputs may not always be accurate or complete
  • You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content
  • AI tools must not be used for any medical or clinical decisions
  • You must not submit sensitive or prohibited data (including PHI) for AI processing

Dotzza may process the information you input for the sole purpose of generating AI responses.

Your data is not used to train external models.

7. Communication and Collaboration Features

Dotzza provides:

  • Teamspace chat
  • One-on-One chat
  • Comments within tasks/projects
  • File sharing
  • Mentions and notifications

These features are intended for academic collaboration.

You agree not to misuse communication features for spam, harassment, or distribution of inappropriate content.

Institutions may have administrative access to monitor, audit, or manage workspace communication.

8. Subscription Plans, Billing, and Payments

Some services may require a paid subscription.

By choosing a paid plan, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate billing information
  • allow automatic renewal unless cancelled
  • pay all applicable fees and taxes

Subscription fees are non-refundable unless required by law or covered under a specific Refund Policy provided by Dotzza.

Failure to pay may suspend or limit access to paid features.

9. Service Availability and Modifications

Dotzza aims to maintain reliable access to the Services but does not guarantee:

  • uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • permanent availability of features
  • compatibility with all devices or networks

We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time.

Where feasible, we will provide notice when changes materially affect your use.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • You violate these terms.
  • You engage in harmful or fraudulent activity
  • required for security or legal reasons

You may stop using Dotzza at any time.

Upon termination, your access to workspace content may be removed or limited depending on institutional policies.

11. Disclaimers

Dotzza is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:

  • merchantability
  • fitness for a particular purpose
  • non-infringement
  • accuracy or reliability of AI outputs

Dotzza does not provide professional, clinical, or legal advice.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dotzza and its affiliates will not be liable for:

  • lost data
  • lost educational or academic outcomes
  • incorrect AI suggestions
  • service interruptions
  • unauthorized access to User Content
  • indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Services in the last 12 months.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Disputes shall be resolved through courts located in Indian jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make significant changes, we will notify users via email or an in-app alert.

Continued use of the Services constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
